Dr Murray’s trial delayed to May 9th

Superior Court Judge Michael  Pastor has  delayed opening statements in the  trial of Michael Jackson's doctor from April 6 to  May 9, giving the defense and prosecuting attorneys more time to share information.

The Jury selection of Dr Conrad Murray's trial  begins on March  24 which  prospective jurors will be called upon to fill out questionnaires March 24-29.  May 4th will be the final Jury selection and trial begins with opening statements on May 9th

There will be a status update hearing on March 9th

Murray is accused of  giving Mr. Jackson an over dose of the powerful anaesthetic propofol as a sleeping aid and leaving him unmonitored leading to his death on June 25th 2009
