King Of Pop Beats Queen Of Twitter With Exclusive Music Video


According to Socialbro.com  Michael says  ‘Just Beat It’ with 45,000 retweets  for the premiere of his exclusive music video. That's five times more than the 9,000 achieved by Katy Perry for the release of her latest single. Besides beating Perry's record, History was made  with the exclusive Twitter premiere of the video for Jackson’s posthumous single ‘A Place With No Name' This was the first time a major music video has been unveiled in a tweet.

‘A Place With No Name’ comes from Jackson’s latest album, XSCAPE, released in May this year. The song was originally recorded 16 years ago and the video  features never before seen footage of Jackson from 1992. The video was also streamed simultaneously in New York’s Times Square to thousands of screaming fans, all fired up by the excellent build-up to the premiere on Twitter in the last week.

It’s been five long years since Michael Jackson died (an event that crashed Twitter’s servers as the world mourned) but he’s still thriving on social media.
