Michael Jackson “THE IMMORTAL World Tour” coming to Shanghai and Hong Kong

AEG China announced today that the blockbuster show Michael Jackson
THE IMMORTAL World Tour”
will come to Shanghai and Hong Kong in August 2013.

The event’s promoter posted a short message on their micro blog, saying: “The globally acclaimed Michael Jackson “THE IMMORTAL World Tour” will land on China! The show is produced by Cirque du Soleil, and is a riveting fusion of 3D visuals, dance, music, and fantasy and will take you into the story of the greatest entertainer of the 20th century.”

AEG said that there will be five shows in Shanghai from August 15-18, and then the tour will land in Hong Kong to perform August 22-25. The promoter didn’t elaborate as to when tickets will go on sale, but rumors point to early May.

Coincidentally, AEG also promoted Jackson’s “This Is It” concert in London in 2009, but the singer died days before the show. AEG is now being sued by Jackson’s mother Katherine Jackson and his three children in a wrongful death civil suit, alleging that AEG negligently hired and managed Dr. Conrad Murray, who administered the dose of propofol that killed the singer.

Jackson’s “THE IMMORTAL World Tour” was written and directed by Jamie King, who has previously worked with Britney Spears, Madonna and Rihanna. The Tour just finished its European leg and will soon head to Asia, starting from Japan in May.

“THE IMMORTAL World Tour” has so far generated US$270 million box office worldwide and was the second highest grossing tour of 2012 in the U.S., just behind Madonna’s “MDNA Tour,” according to Pollstar.

The new Michael Jackson resident show “ONE,” also produced by Cirque du Soleil, will open in June 2013 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino located in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Michael Jackson - The Final Days ( Katherine Jackson vs AEG )

I'm  not really a fan of the tit for tat tabloid approach in the media concerning the Katherine Jackson vs AEG wrongful death suit. It reminds me too much of how the media treated Michael Jackson's trial in 2005.  But I know many fans want to stay updated and informed.  So In light of the upcoming wrongful death suite of Katherine Jackson vs AEG, CNN has created this special showing what led up to Michael's death and the upcoming civil suit brought by the Jackson's against the AEG concert promoters.  This will lead you from Michael Jackson wanting to return to the stage with his "THIS IS IT" concerts, to his tragic death, the trial of his physician Dr Murray and what led up to this wrongful death civil suit now in progress. In my opinion, this Anderson Cooper Special, is one of the most unbiased informative ways to be up to date until more details unfold when the actual civil suit/trial begins. ~ Qbee

Timeless - A beautiful Tribute to Michael Jackson recorded by Bruce Swedien

This beautiful song is a moving tribute to the late Michael Jackson recorded by Bruce Swedien at West Viking studio, Florida in March 2013.  A live version of 'Timeless' from the album 'Another Roller Coaster' by Scott & Michelle Dalziel.

http://youtu.be/u2HSmc24m-E

'Timeless'
From the album 'Another Roller Coaster'

“All these memories, keep washing over me
Every time I hear your songs
All of these melodies keep coming back to me
Even though I know you’re gone
There may never be, a brighter star in our galaxy, to come along

Five years old and brave when you stepped on that stage,
You owned it like a man
But your future didn’t tell, fame would be your prison cell,
That few could understand
Keeper of the dream, it never seemed, like your feet ever touched the ground
Out of sight out of mind, won’t happen this time, cause timeless always stays around

Named the selfless King, but was it worth everything, to give your innocence
Could it be the crown that finally weighed you down, in the end
So many cried when you left too soon
But now you’re free, to walk upon the moon.

Keeper of the dream it never seemed that your feet ever touched the ground
Out of sight out of mind, won’t happen this time
Cause timeless always stays around
All these memories keep washing over me

Even though I know you’re gone
There will never be a brighter star in my galaxy to come along
There will never be a brighter star in my galaxy to come along

In The Studio With Michael Jackson: Seminar

In The Studio With Michael Jackson

Four studio albums.  Countless sessions.  Video mixes.  Dance mixes.  Three world tours.  A ranch called "Neverland."  This was Brad Sundberg's life and career for nearly 18 years, working closely with the King of Pop himself, Michael Jackson.  This is your chance to hear of the music, the stories behind the music, and what it was like to be a part of Michael's team.  This is a one-of-a-kind music, photo and video-filled seminar.

Brad had the opportunity to work closely in the studio and at Neverland Valley Ranch with Michael Jackson.  He was Michael's technical director and one of the engineers on four studio albums including "Bad", "Dangerous", "HIStory", and "Blood On The Dancefloor."  (Michael even gave Brad the nickname "Really, Really Brad".)  These mammoth projects (including production, tour-prep and countless remixes) took upwards of 16 months each.  You will see and hear what it was like to be in the studio with Michael and the team of engineers and producers who created these songs, through a carefully crafted timeline of music, video and behind-the-scenes info.  From "Captain Eo" to "Man In The Mirror" to "Scream", Brad was there, and you will hear about the production process.

Additionally, Michael tapped him to help in the early days of designing and building Neverland Valley Ranch, his incredible home.  The ranch was filled with rides, music and surprises waiting to be discovered.  He commissioned Brad to bring music to virtually ever corner.  Michael would even give him specific playlists for certain areas of the ranch, to create just the right environment.

Brad is generous with his insights and knowledge, and there will be time for questions.  If you are a fan of Michael's music, or are curious about how those albums were recorded and the staggering amount of tapes, tracks and time invested, you will want to attend "In The Studio With Michael Jackson."

For More information check out Brads Facebook page:

Details:  The event will  be offered twice on June 29, 2013, at 11 AM and again at 5 PM.  There are a limited number of VIP tickets available for the 11AM session which will include front-row seats and a catered dinner with Brad.  This will include one of Michael's favorite "studio meals" and give you extra time to ask questions and hear a bit more about their time working together.

On June 25 Michael Jackson will be remembered
in one of the most important churches in Rome.

Michael's Dangerous girls group are happy to announce that, after being in contact for a long time with the Vicarage and Diocese of Rome (who we are heartily thankful to), we have been granted such an important location for our event.

On June 25 Michael Jackson will be remembered in one of the most important churches in Rome, “Santa Maria in Montesanto”, known as the “Church of the Artists” because for over 50 years every Sunday a Holy Mass is celebrated in the presence of famous people in the entertainment industry, culture and art. In that same church, located in one of the most beautiful squares in the world – Piazza del Popolo, funerals of people connected to the world of art, film and music are often celebrated.

In this church, at 7:30 p.m., to honor Michael Jackson four years after his passing, a Mass will be celebrated by Father Walter Insero, who we’d like to thank for understanding our desire to help others and the real meaning that’s the core of every initiative of ours.

After the ceremony, the group "All Over Gospel Choir" will perform a few Michael Jackson’s songs as well as some classic gospel repertoire.

MICHAEL'S DANGEROUS GIRLS IN COLLABORATION WITH
CARLA DE FELICI OF MICHAEL JACKSON ITALIAN FOUNDATION

The cultural and artistic impact of Michael Jackson in his singing production involves social problems about the disadvantaged, the neglect, the abused people and those living in abandon.

The art of Michael Jackson aims to help people reflecting about the problems that destroy our planet and break up our society day after day. His music is meant to give love to those who don’t have love and his entire life has been a continuous offering: Michael Jackson devoted himself, his time and his money to the children and the most vulnerable people.

His mission was "TO BE THE VOICE OF THE VOICELESS"

All in the name of love, that unconditional love that should be the basis of all human relationships, but that too often people forget to give each other.

On June 25, 2009, an extraordinary human being left us, but his voice didn’t follow the same fate ... rather it spread throughout the world, instilling love in the hearts of many people. Since then, that voice echoed everywhere, rejuvenated by those who have been able to grasp his message, and his legacy lives on as an example of consistency, genius, magic and art.

But the most important legacy of Michael Jackson is the neighborly love and the ability to make a change, to "make the world a better place" starting with the man in the mirror.

Surrounded by envy, Michael became the target of slander, yet he consistently put anyone else before himself, creating an immortal music that will continue to sing his love forever.

On June 25, 2013, at 19.30 will be celebrated by the Rector of Don Walter Insero in the Basilica of Santa Maria in Montesanto, known to all as the church of the artists in Piazza del Popolo, a mass suffrage in honor of Michael Jackson.

At the end of the liturgy the group "All Over Gospel Choir" will perform a few Michael Jackson's songs alternated with the traditional gospel repertoire

Like any initiative dedicated to Michael Jackson, this is for charity and all your contributions will be donated to the AMOC Onlus (an Italian association helping to prevent colon-rectum cancer)
http://www.amoc.it/

All the participants who can’t be present at the event will receive by e-mail a souvenir personalized with their own names. Please note that the souvenir is still in the making, so it may not be sent contextually to the donation.

Those who we’ll have the pleasure to meet in Rome will receive the gift personally.

Donations can be sent through Paypal at the following address:

Judith Hill, Michael Jackson’s Duet Partner for 'This Is It' is ' Voice’ Favorite

I'm so excited for Judith Hill. Seems she has  learned a thing or two about perfect timing from Michael Jackson. I always admired her for not capitalizing or  exploiting his passing. Now its time for her to shine.  I had to giggle over the judges fighting over her but I guess we will have to wait till next week to see who she chooses. ~ Qbee

This Is It Michael Jackson’s Former Duet Partner Already A ‘Voice’ Frontrunner
By Lyndsey Parker

The Voice" has had a long history of alums with serious showbiz experience--Season 1 winner Javier Colon was once signed to Capitol Records and fronted the Derek Trucks Band; Season 2 winner Jermaine Paul was Alicia Keys's backup singer; and reigning champion Cassadee Pope used to sing for the Pete Wentz-championed Decaydence/Columbia Records emo-pop band Hey Monday. But one Blind Auditioner for "The Voice" Season 4, which premieres in less than a week, just may have the most impressive résumé yet. And she just may be the next "Voice" winner.

That contestant's name is Judith Hill, and if she looks and sounds familiar, there's good reason for that. The 28-year-old diva was hired to be Michael Jackson's "I Just Can't Stop Loving You" duet partner for his This Is It tour in 2009, and after that tour was cancelled due to his tragic death, she performed "Heal The World" at his memorial, which was viewed by more than a billion people around the globe and by 31 million people in the U.S. alone. It's quite possible that you were one of those billion viewers, and that Judith made an immense impression on you with her immense talent.

Judith tells "Voice" producers that her "phone went crazy" with offers from record labels after her Michael memorial performance at Los Angeles's Staples Center, but that she thought the timing was wrong and it would be in poor taste to capitalize on his passing. (She did release an MJ tribute, "I Will Always Be Missing You," but it was only available as a free download from her website and then later as a charity single on iTunes, with all proceeds going to Childhelp U.S.) Now, however, Judith believes it's finally her time to shine…and that time will come on Monday, March 25, when her audition airs during "The Voice" Season 4's big premiere.

Obviously there will be many other Blind Auditions that follow Judith's, and if Season 4's talent level is anywhere near the level of Season 3 (arguably the best "Voice" season yet), she will face some stiff competition. But she already looks like the one to beat this year. In a new Season 4 preview clip, her cover of on-hiatus judge Christina Aguilera's "What A Girl Wants" inspires all four judges (including newbies Usher and Shakira) to spin their chairs, and then those judges get out of their chairs in a unison standing ovation. The ultra-competitive Adam Levine even stands on topof his chair in an attempt to persuade Judith to join his team. "You're the first person who's come on this show and done a Christina Aguilera song as well as Christina Aguilera," Adam tells Judith. And if Xtina was still on the panel this season, she might even agree.

You'll have to wait until next Monday to see which coach Judith chooses (whichever one it is, that coach will have a very strong advantage this season), but in the meantime, check out Judith's amazing Michael Jackson memorial performance from July 7, 2009:
